I shocked the hell out of my parents when they gave me a good chunk of change to buy whatever I wanted, and I brought home a dented up Ford F-100. I've had it since last August, and up to this point I've continued to give it the love it deserves spending money, replacing stuff on the regular. I definitely went against all expectations with all of the other high schoolers driving computers with fancy frivolous technology. But me, I've never been happier with my 40 year old best friend with a bench seat, broken AC, and a few switches. The passion lies in the engine bay, where you can be sure that her heart runs smooth and strong despite her other imperfections. Once an enthusiast, always an enthusiast. I remember being in middle school and my friends and I would watch out the window for any thing interesting one day I saw a 1971 Mustang Mach-1so, I pointed it out. From then on we'd watch the road to see any cool or intriguing vehicle passing by or sitting. Man I miss that. Now I'm just starting to get out in the world at 18. I own my dream car a 1970 Chevelle SS with a worn-out steering wheel, rusty doors, hood and back left fender. I need to get a new clutch as far as I can tell that maybe be it in the front mechanically depending on the state of the transmission. New Tires, brakes/ replace the brake them selves, a new gas tank and a few other part's but I love it and don't care if it needs TLC. I own it and I'm content with that.
