Over the past 2.5 weeks, I’ve been going over my favorite shoes of 2024. But now, it’s time for the best of the best. I’m taking the winner of each category to see which can come away with the Best in Shoe. These are my contenders for shoe of the year.

I really wanted the deviate nitro 3, but my feet are simply too wide and going up by half a size doesn't help the width much if at all and going up by 1 size causes a ton of heel slip.
