I'm amazed you were still able to find a payphone.

I was under ten in the early 2000s, and in the car, I could happily entertain myself by staring out the window and day-dreaming

You should do a "School lunches in the 80's" video.

That ending seemed a bit... Abrupt. Aside from that though, awesome video, as always! I was born in 1982 so I've experienced some of that stuff too. When I was a kid though, the internet was just starting to become a more widespread thing. I still remember playing Oregon Trail on the oldest computer I've ever known (I think it was IBM). At the time, it was top of the line gaming technology! Dang, the more I type, the older I feel... Lol! Anyway, another great video! Hope to see another new one soon! In the meantime, still trying to watch your other videos. You have so many! 🙂🙂🙂

I love how long it took you guys to find a payphone! lol When my oldest son was about 16 he went to a friends house at the Jersey shore and found one while walking the boardwalk. He sent me a picture of him standing next to it. He honestly thought I had made the story up about them! 😂🤣😂

This is great!! I wonder if they’d know how to use a rotary phone turn on an old computer or use a floppy disk.

As a kid from the early 90's I was able to experience both sides of this.

Where did you find a pay phone? I thought they took them all out.

I came across one last summer with my 16 year old son. I gave him money and had him figure out how to call a friend. The poor thing was so confused! Lol! It cost more than it did back in the 80's but it was totally worth it!

If you need to find a payphone, head to the airport. A lot of airports will have payphones so that incoming travellers who don't have a local SIM card can get in contact with whoever is supposed to be picking them up. Also, my Year 1 class is really obsessed with Rubiks Cubes. They've made a surprising return recently.

You should do a 80’s scavenger hunt! Who’s with me?!

In our rural town 3 hours from Toronto, Ontario, Canada, we have a few. Cell phone coverage is not always the best and we call it 'the land that time forgot'. Small businesses don't have website but put up billboards or they have a 2000 looking webpage often.

I remember knowing where the bus stops and pay phones were all around my town and the surrounding areas. Convenience stores and restaurants always had them, or they were outside grocery stores or malls. Only rich people had cell phones and I either had no car or it wasn't reliable. I still was able to organize a trip to a rock concert taking the bus to the record store, buying the tickets (remember Ticketmaster outlets at record stores?), and gathering up everyone who was going using mainly pay phones. This was 2001, mind you, less than twenty years ago. Nowadays, such a feat would next to impossible to achieve. How life has changed!

I was born in 97 but growing up going on road trips with my family we would play eye spy. This video was hilarious!
