My brother got me to go see George Strait and his Ace in the Hole Band at a country-western club in Austin back in the 1970's, before anybody really knew who he was. I wasn't really a fan of country music, but my brother insisted I'd like George. He was right, and I've had the pleasure of seeing the rest of America come to appreciate one of the finest things about Texas -- George Strait and his music. I've lived on 3 continents and traveled extensively, but Texas has been my home for over 40 years. I'm American by birth, and Texan by the Grace of God. God Bless Texas!
