Yep, the tuning is that exact same for Life in Technicolour.

Great tutorial, but to speed things up if you aren't ready you can skip the high pitched e in chorus, but yeah thanks!

It's okay, just use your first finger to replace where your thumb would be.

Instead of playing the e chord on the twelfth fret, you can just play a regular e chord.

To be honest, that ultimate guitar way of playing using bar chords is easier than, bringing the thumb and press on the string :/.
This sounds better, and this is the more difficult one.
