I built a very simple roller blade wheel bedini motor with 6 very powerful neodymium permanent magnets that are 3/4" diameter x 1" length and have a pull force of about 100 pounds each. I built a massive electromagnet with a 3" diameter by 2" thick with a heavy gauge copper wire and several hundred turns of magnet wire which generates high voltage back EMF that can power different loads as a biproduct. The second smaller coil is a pick up coil for the timing that turns on a transistor to allow current to energize the primary coil. Once the timing is correct, this motor reaches a speed of 8000 RPM with a single electromagnet. The neodymium permanent magnets are permanently glued into the roller blade wheel. I am using a 12 volt DC battery to power the motor. However, at a very high speed and or 24 volts DC input, they can fly out, so be careful if you try to duplicate this motor. Have fun and be safe!

That is just a brilliant idea to use an electric scooter wheel as a rotor! Super balanced and comes with bearings. Easy to drill to place the magnets. I'll borrow that, thanks!

Wonder if 3 printed wheel with seating for inside magnets and a coil, could be integrated into rollerblades - to charge a battery. Thought ?

Doesn’t back emf only happen during the first sec or two of a motor startup? That’s the purpose of a potential relay

The back emf needs to be to the motor and put a alternator on the other end with 4 motors the circuit only makes it efficient not make power use the speed to turn a alternator and the alternator to a solar charger to the charge battery and use capacitors charged by the sun

I've always been fascinated with generating power.. simply.
But I have a small problem.. a learning disability that only allows me to learn by physical either doing or watching something done.
