Fur Demo - Nvidia Kepler GTX 680

Take a look at some fur in motion in this demo of Nvidia's GeForce GTX 680. If you'll excuse us, we'll just be hunting down a yeti to scratch.

As someone who has worked extensively with Fur in Maya, I'm pretty impressed by this.  Now just to get self-shadows, self-collision and detailed grooming involved.

It would be cool if the tech demos go back to having a story. Watching real-time animated shorts, I thought, was an awesome way to check out what the hardware could do. More Dawn, Nalu, AMD Ruby!

Why just leave it up to Futuremark.

These demos are great, but how many of those objects can be actually animated at the same time? One? Two? That won't be much use in games, unless you play "Adventures of Furry Monster in Empty Room"

well its going to better than the Wii U but only slightly. We are in a financial crisis and there are getting more casual gamers.

fuck i hope they stick one of these in the next playstation, I am a console gamer hungry for a long awaited upgrade, however I just don't think any console company is going to harness the power of cutting edge video technology. I think both consoles are going to be massive let downs. I also hope I am entirely wrong.
