"Best class I have ever had." huh. that's what she said to my older brother's class too....

I’m surprised there wasn’t the classic “I just told the others teachers how good of a class you are.” Like dude, we all know we suck, you can say that you never tell other teachers that we rock.

Had a teacher in sixth grade who was always on high alert, ready to yell at some kid. Last week of classes he would do magic tricks and give drinks to kids. Realized it later but he had to be mean, it was wood shop. We were all scared to mess up which was good, it meant we weren’t gonna hurt ourselves. He was actually a super nice guy.

"I have never, in all of my years of teaching" so true 😂

She said it! " In all of my years of teaching " 🤣 This video is lowkey so true though! Love the vid! 💗

Teacher here- we genuinely do love and miss our students (each and every one).

Throughout the year, though, it’s hard to keep it together when you’re spending hours planning and grading (I often stayed at school planning until 9 pm and arrived at 7 am) only to have students be disrespectful and get in the way of the rest of the class’ learning and putting you behind the curriculum schedule.

Then when you add in the total lack of support from admin, parents emailing with all sorts of different needs, the stress of standardized testing, and extra things like professional development sessions, meetings, and recess/lunch duty, it’s hard to keep perspective.

We put the effort in because we care. We do the work because we love you. When we’re in the thick of the school year, we’re just at the end of our ropes and hanging on by a thread.

I swear they're a different person on the first and last day.

🤣👍🏾❤️👍🏾🤣
I do love them. They’re squirrely and make knuckleheaded decisions, but I love them.

This could not be any more relatable!! My teacher was so mean the entire year but on the last day she gave us presents and we threw a party. Like huh?

Yeah i’m convinced that the principal gives the teacher some sort of script to say something good about the class on the last day

They probably say they'll miss the current class because they're afraid of what next year's class will be like.

Just reading the caption brought back memories. There is this certain emotion that I can't describe, I got it every year on the last day. Similar to the feeling on the first day. Like I'm floating
I graduated HS years ago but that feeling still lives inside me and comes out when I see stuff like this

I remember during a nightmare class I had the teacher said thankfully we are finally done and please don’t come back. I appreciated the honesty and completely agreed.
