This webinar is the third presentation in the BIANYS Advocacy Series. The presentation will provide a "map" of the NYS Legislature and the legislative process as well as the Executive, or Governor's office and the administrative process.  This information will enable participants to be more effective as they seek to become involved in amending pertinent laws or regulations.  

Mary Ann McLean is an attorney, specializing in government relations.  She was counsel to the NYS Senate Higher Education committee for 8 years following law school and then, in 1987, she became a lobbyist.  Since that time, she has represented numerous clients including colleges, professional associations, and commercial businesses.

The Brain Injury Association of New York State is a statewide, non-profit membership organization which provides help and hope for individuals with brain injuries and their families. BIANYS is the chartered state affiliate of the Brain Injury Association of America.
