BFUMC Children's Moment - God Creates People

Verse: Genesis 1:26-2:4

On the 3rd day, God looked at what he had made, and next he created people. God creates humans in His own image so we have a little bit of God in all of us.

In our Bible story this week, we will talk about how we are all children of God.

For our craft this week, I want you to trace your hand with your palm up. Then look at all the lines on the palm of your hand and draw them onto the paper.

The poem that goes with the craft says this:

God created me just as I am.

God made me from the palm of God’s hand.

And if there are days when I am feeling afraid, upset, or down,

I can touch my hand and know that God is around.
