Step-by-Step Tutorial: Safe Lifting Techniques with Terrier Clamps

Before use: Please read the full manual.
Step 1: Check if the WLL is correct for the job.
Step 2: Check whether the clamp has any visible damage.
Step 3: Check if the teeth of the clamp are clean and sharp
Step 4: Open and close the clamp to check if it opens and closes smoothly.
Step 5: Clean the position where the clamp will be attached.
Step 6: Make sure that the clamp is placed in a position where the load will be in balance.
Step 7: Make sure that the plate is in the "neck" of the clamp.
Step 8: Close the clamp by rotating the spindle clockwise. Make sure that the correct torque is applied.
Step 9: Make sure that all attachments have the correct capacity and are large enough to allow the clamp to move freely.
Step 10: Lift gently to allow lifting force to be applied.
Step 11: Make sure that the load is in a stable position before loosening the clamp from the plate.
Step 12: Open the clamp by rotating the spindle counter clockwise
Step 13: Store the clamp safely by hanging the clamp in an open position.
In case the clamp is slipping, please check all steps again.
If the clamp keeps slipping, do not use the clamp and contact a professional Terrier dealer.
