Honestly it was kinda smart that they gave her that many.. because they didn't know if anything would happen while she was gone. And sometimes in higher altitudes ur flow can get heavier because the blood cells start to expand.

I did the math. You change a tampon atleast every 6 hours. 6÷24 is 4. 4 tampons × 6 days equals 24. Lady only needed 24 tampons. And if we do 100÷4, it equals 25, meaning that the lady could've stayed up there for 25 days with that amount of tampons.
