One thing I’ve always inspected and or maintained was my glove and all the laces that hold it together. I’ve had laces snap on me while catching a line drive at me while playing 3rd. Ball got stuck. Better stuck in the glove than stuck in my dam face. Talk about cold sweats 😳😬😰

If the glove is 'robust' the catch is easy as long as the pitch is over the plate somewhere, otherwise your on yer toes ready to chase it or block it from getting behind you.

Catcher probably didn’t feel a thing awesome thing about mitts like these is as long as you don’t catch it in the palm it shouldn’t hurt now if you catch so many your wrist might start to hurt due to the mitt moving when being hit with the ball, and if you don’t have it on all the way the glove will fly off your hand
