My friend got this and idk if it was a different brand but the lip tint was much thinner and looked great and DID smell like wine. She used like an orange/reddish shade

They’re not intended to be worn with that style of make up (super thick foundation, over lined lips etc) They’re supposed to be patted on slowly and blotted to give a stained lips effect. They’re beautiful when used correctly

I think it looks “awful” because of the way you have your makeup, specially bc in my opinion that light and bright pink doesn’t go with the green you’re wearing

I mean don't get me wrong I absolutely love them I think they're so cute and the colors are great they're very pigmented but there's a difference between lipstick and lip tint and in my opinion this is definitely a liquid lipstick not a lip tint

I use these all the time. The way I wear them is not like in the video. I first put on either a clear gloss or just your everyday chapstick. Then I apply just a few small dots of the lip tint on my lip and obviously mix it around however you want. It always ends up really natural and beautiful.

You're not really supposed to apply it on like you would lipstick/lipgloss. It's supposed to be lightly applied and blended to created a gradient look. Its in the name "lip tint". I'm pretty sure you might've bought a knock-off version. I have the same set and they look completely different from the ones I have, especially the consistency? It looks super matte. They are supposed to have scents as well (which smell good!).

With lip tints, I find putting a small amount and blending it in and wiping excess has been my go to move. Definitely agree they don’t look great when heavily applied.

Also better after exfoliating the lips. I live in a cold, dry climate so it’s really hit or miss with tints.

I'm done seeing shorts of people being amazed by things that have been selling on Wish for over 6 years now. Of course it doesn't smell like wine or has anything special. It's simply lipstick with wine bottle design in it. It's a Wish product. It wasn't made to be a good groundbreaking product. It's just colours.

These lips tints are great for soft styles (e.g. peachy styles) and is used in asian makeup a lot. We usually just apply it on the inner lips and feather it out rather than applying it like that.

Edit: Okay, so a few people think I'm fetishisizing asians for whatever reason. I'm Chinese and I'm just saying lip tints are a trend in asian makeup. I'm saying this as an asian myself so I'm not trying to come off as fetishisizing my own race 💀I added an edit to lessen to confusion.
