Hi. Great review. Just received this Len's this morning. Time to try this Len's out. First impressions are great love the weight and feel of this Len's. I've used Sigma the Sigma 150-500mm for airshows that were all day long and at the end of the day I was shattered. This Len's will be a welcome addition to my gear for airshows. I love the 28-200 so much (its an outstanding lens) I've just bought the 70-300 too, just for the longer reach.

As an owner of the 70-210mm f/4 from Tamron, I’m a big fan of how they’re approaching this space. I hope they’ll eventually release equivalent lenses on the RF mount at some point.

I would definitely choose the Tamron 70-300mm F/4.5-6.3 Lens. The size and weight is much more manageable. As a news photographer/videographer, it is clear that in the past equipment was designed for bigger hands. At 99 lbs, the size and weight works for me.

Nice video but why are you shooting at F5.6 on those landscapes? The quality didn't look very good because it wasn't sharp across the frame. You should be at F11 in that situation.
