What an amazing list of books! I recently finished Far from the Tree, and it's beautiful. Very deserving of the award! I'm treating myself to Three Dark Crowns this year...in the Epic Reads gift box, of course!

I had on my wishlist Warbringer by Leigh Bardugo which my best friend just bought (because my birthday was yesterday) and I treated myself with The Hate U Give and One Dark Crown signed thanks to Barnes and Noble! Can't wait to read them all!

This year, sadly, I'm not gifting a book to anyone but I was gifted books by my friend. They were gifted in four parts, the first was a book she made herself (it's called an accordian book) and has pages for me to add my own creative things to- it's an 'art' project she started and I'm to continue. The the second was a note book for me to write down my thoughts, the third I was gifted a book by Patrick Rothfuss The Slow Regard of Silent Things which is from her own bookshelf, one she has loved and read (a tradition started by one of her uni lecturers) and the fourth was some money to buy myself a book at my favourite bookstore. It was such a creative gift and caught me off guard so not sure what I could do in return.

I have so many books on my wishlist, it keeps growing and so does my TBR pile lol but one that I really want and am waiting so patiently for, is Lisa Genova's new book which comes out next year in March called Every Note Played. Also I am wanting to read Wonder by R.J Palacio and The Hate U Give by Angie Thomas :)

YES! The Hate U Give!! Ok, let me start by confessing that I live in Arkansas that is a very racist state (and I WAS racist for the majority of my 28 years). I admit it. I'm reforming (because let's be honest, that's an ongoing process) and this book is absolutely FREAKING amazing, regardless of your background, how you were raised, what your mama thinks, or what age you are.
