This was sooo me during Kiera Cass's book signing event here in the Philippines! It was my turn for signing and she said 'Hi sweetheart." and all I could do was robotically hand her my books while smiling like a fool the entire time and internally screaming. Authors are pretty much celebrities to us book nerds and people who say otherwise are just those who don't read. Really, the state humanity is in. XD

I've had the honour of meeting Bram Stoker's great-grandnephew, Dacre Stoker, at a book talk and signing event in my area a month ago, which is VERY unlikely place to be, imo 😂 Bram Stoker's great-grandson was there too, and he lives in my area!!! BOTH signed my copy of 'Dracul'! I'm still fangirling about it to this day 😍😨

This was so me when I met Sara Raasch. Minimal talking. Pretty much Frozen, although I did talk a bit more than this. I was very awkward. And awkward is cool! But I'd prefer to be more confident fangirl awkward so I can get the most out of meeting these authors, and make more memorable experiences. I hope to when I meet Adam Silvera.

Oh my gosh!! This was totally me last weekend with Suzanne Young, I ran into her in the hall and on the inside freaked out. I then said "Oh my gosh you are Suzanne Young, you are a huge inspiration to me!" then she hugged me!! :D So I totally relate to this video xD

Meeting our favorite author is a once-in-a-lifetime experience! The best thing to do is to practice meeting the person so you can keep your calm and who knows, you might be able to stir up a conversation!
