I got really excited about this TV until I learned about the obligatory box (which they conveniently didn't mention in the shop). That totally kills all the benefits of this TV because I have only a simple wall and no place to hide this box. As the comment section shows, I'm not the only one with that problem. I would even say it makes this TV a niche product for the few people who can somehow install the box in a hidden way. For most people this defeats the purpose of this device - a clean and elegant look - completely.

#1 TVs above a fireplace make for a less than ideal viewing angle so I would move it to where you can catch eye level at the center while sitting
#2 The proper way to install this tv is to build a subwall behind where you want to mount it (think tray ceilings) so that the power wire and box can be placed behind the tv

I bring up #2 because if a fire ever happens, you'll wish you hadn't run that puny little wire inside of the wall
