Midi tool is pretty cool, but in my workflow I really had issues with arps and strumming with Ableton live devices, but I use scaler 2 for this and Im assuming you have that vst. Its incredible for strumming and strum performances KICK SOME BOOTY! (as well as arps) I have been involved in beta testing and definitely gave them some suggestions recently. Trying to get some other abilities for MPE and vocal performance - pitch and something basically like Doubler 2 so your able to import midi from vocal performances and the ability to have pitch imparted upon another instrument, based on the device " Envelope to MPE" insane tech, so I really hope they start working on that. I am right there with you on the updates and improving certain functions. I really hope they add some new stuff over the next two years. We need native Melodyne and a mix of the features I listed above. I love this stuff so much, and love Ableton. Makes my heart happy. Thanks for the video, and its getting me hype to download LIVE 12 from purchase! Lets keep giving them suggestions and speaking loud about it! The community is awesome and its THE BEST DAW (my opinion)!

I would definitely say that strumming is supposed to have feel ahead of the beat. It’s gonna sound late if it’s moved on/behind the beat. Our minds approximate it as being directly on the beat.

this midi fx exist as max4l device with floating window since near 2 years same UI open source & free, .Ableton copy it complete and the user must now pay for it..I dont get why people so hyped.
