In this insane world we live in, it behooves everyone to have some kind of security system, dash cams, home security, car alarms etc. You are wise to secure your home on the road. Makes life a little less stressful. My kitties say a big HELLO to Jax :)

I'm with you. The more cameras the better. 👍🏼👍🏼 Isn't it amazing how a camera will keep a dishonest person, honest. 😊
Great video!! HI JAX !!

Add a ninth cam on the roof in the front, pointing backwards so you can see your roof gear, plus good angle to show anytime you rub tree branches etc. Plus the screen isn't even with 8 cameras... For all of us, that need it to be even... If the system is capable. Should also catch some of the sky for sunset, sunrise constant b roll generation, even if low resolution.

As a side note, my tiny house I've been building, has no windows you can see through. Instead I have monitors in each area of it. And voice control of any cam to pop up on my 55" Toshiba for each individual camera. And entire tiny house is voice controlled. Anything that has a switch I can turn on or off by talking, and led light strips for most of the lighting, so full voice control of color, dim and bright, whatever. 35' travel trailer used as the base for it. Used 4 seasons and NW Pa weather, so windows just allow too much heat loss. Long time viewer.

This is one of the many many reasons why I love and adore your Channel. You are honest, sincere and are not afraid to admit if you make a mistake. I learn so much from you. I am so grateful that you and Jax are in my life. You are both great blessings to me and my life. I'm hoping you had a great 4th of July, and I always always wish you the best. God bless you and keep you always safe. Travel mercies on all your travels. And thank you for you being you, and Jax's being Jax's.

Good idea on replacing those bulky cameras with low profile ones. I didn't think you would like the wireless system when you first introduced it to us. But like you said it's always a trial and error thing when trying new gadgets on an R.V. Great video Eric!

Tidy install, and having a camera system totally makes sense when you're traveling alone. When you're pulling wire through a cavity it's a good idea to put a piece of paracord through along with it and tape off the ends. That way you can easily pull more new wires (along with another length of paracord) the next time you want to add something.

don't believe it's paranoia, seems like common sense to me :)

Enjoy your people seem to forget how much time and effort go into just editing alone.

Asking Jax if he's hungry is always the way to get interaction from him, love Jax. Safe travels

I learn so much from watching your videos. We just bought a 1993 Roadtrek 210 Popular. I'm having so much fun fixing her up. Named her "Stella." This is our 5th RV over 27 years. We've had all new ones in the past. This time I wanted a little used Roadtrek with this specific floor plan, in good shape. Learned a long time ago, there is always something to work on. Luckily I'm a tinker so now that I'm retired I can tinker to my hearts content. Thx for sharing all your adventures, Mary

Great video on RV security. It amazes me that the RV industry has not offered this as regular installed equipment.

We had a wireless transmitter/receiver plugged into our rear camera that will transmit audio \ video to the front A/V jack without using a Wi-Fi connection or running wires. This will give you a dedicated wireless connection that won't bog down your Wi-Fi network and eliminates the long wire run.

Great video. I loved the Eureka video because you drove right past my daughters apartment, as you were leaving. It was fun to see. I am so glad you are having fewer problems since the cameras were installed. No one wants to be harassed. Much love to the Jax.

I'm glad you got more streamlined cameras and hardwired in, having cameras just CYA!

People put security systems in their houses...your rv is YOUR house; keep it safe! As to mistakes- we learn from them and grow!

Camera systems is a smart idea for anyone - I got my truck vandalized last year and wish I had one but afterwards I put one in. POE is the best way to go if you upgrade your system Eric, but go solid copper core CAT6 if you do that - really solid cable for video surveillance.
