Moms’ Homemade Waffle Recipe! Best ever!

I’ m sharing my husbands Moms’ waffle recipe with you today! She is currently 88 years old and she raised 10 children with recipes as good as this one! Enjoy!

Makes 3-4 waffles, depending on the waffle iron that you are using.

1 1/2 Cups (210 g) All purpose Flour
2 teaspoons (10 ml) Sugar
1 teaspoon (5 ml) Baking Powder
1/8 teaspoon (.5 ml) Salt
Stir together.
Add to same bowl:
1 1/2 Cups (360 g) Milk
1/2 teaspoon (2.5 ml) Vanilla. I use 1 full teaspoon (5 ml)
2 medium Eggs separated.
Whip the egg whites, and fold into batter gently.
My waffle iron cooks a perfect waffle in 4 min. Yum! 😋

Your waffle looks GOOD! I am a messy waffle maker/cook too. But I recently got a DASH four cavity no drip round waffles. Little round ones. No oil, no spray, no stick and no mess because they have these drip cavities for the extra. I freaking LOVE it. Happy Waffle Making to you.
