How are you able to use any other island other then that temperate island?

I have a problem. On console for some reason I can’t build higher than 1 height with prop building off. Wondering if there is a fix and if pc is having this problem as well.

why does random music play when I start my island? I have to activate, then deactivate all of my radio sfx to get it to shut off before starting the game or else it walks all over my programmed sfx.
