Thanks so much for panning left to right on a tripod for video I should just turn off optical steady shot on my lens(I have 200-600)G and be in mode 2? Correct?

Hi Mark great video as always. I was wondering what is best for shooting video? Steady Shot ACTIVE, STANDARD, or OFF when using a gimbal?

I do plans spotting and I am panning left to right or right to left . I have the Sony a7iiis with the 200-600mm telephoto

Should I leave steady OSS on on the lense or off?

Is mode 2 best for aviation horizontal panning on Lens?

And based off that do I leave steady shot active standard or off! And steady shot adj Manuel or auto ?

Mark, as a new owner of a Sony 200-600mm lens, this really clears some of the mystery of Steady Shots settings. My question is Mode 3 seems to be a puzzler for me. If it's for erratic movement it would seem to me to be only relevant if your hand holding the lens trying stop subject movement with slower shutter speeds say under 1/1000th. Am I correct ? Thanks again.

On a6500-a6700, do you use the focal length of the lens or the crop factor 35mm equiv. focal length?

Hi Mark, I just got Sigma 70-200 2.8f OS Sport for my Sony a7 iv, and that Steady Shot setting on the camera is constantly grayed out no matter if I switch OS on the lens On or Off. What does that mean? Does that mean that only OS on the lens is working and the internal camera stabilization is Off, or both of them don't work?

Should I turn IBIS off when shooting with fast shutter speed like 1/1000 or faster? Is a possibility to assign some shortcut key (like AEL) to set shutter speed like 1/2000, IBIS off and electronic first curtain off for action shot?
