Later we see Luz is hugging Hunter and it parallels Caleb hugging Phillip. We also see Luz get adamant about Phillip stabbed Caleb in the back before he did. There was a theory floating around that Luz is Caleb reincarnated (her positivity, love and curiosity about witches). So it could also be symbolic of Caleb and Phillip's relationship.

I don’t think Luz is going to die. Nor the one to make the sacrifice. No, if you want to think of how is going to die. Look no further than Hunter. Why? If his near death at the end of this episode isn’t foreshadowing that he is going to sacrifice his life in order to save the family he loves, then I do not know what will. Plus, with Flapjack dead, I wouldn’t be surprised that he is next.

I agree with the comments. I don't think Luz is gonna die. Just doesn't feel right. I have a feeling that it would be Hunter, because he cares about his friends and family dearly. He might end up sacrificing himself not just to save Luz, but his family. The family that he loves deeply.

It would make sense for luz’s character to sacrifice herself after eda and king both “sacrificed” themselves for her at the end of season 1 and season 2, especially because Dana doesn’t like happy endings.

I think amity will die. Ok hear me out, so in a scene in the auzura movie they were watching amity decided her costume would be the girl who was dying and luz would be auzura and owl house has a big thing with foreshadowing.

No!!!! Not another death! One is enough. And what’s worse is it was an animal, and I am an animal lover! I don’t want a character dying in every season 3 episode. I could maybe see a sacrifice and getting back their life like in Ambphibia. And TOH likes making refs to that show, so I wouldn’t be surprised seeing more references to that show. But please, for the love of Titan, no more permanent deaths! This season will just be depressing then and it seems a bit much for a Disney show.
