Couldn't agree more Vinnie. I love my Sennheiser Momentum 2 wired headphones for editing!

Earbuds have a couple budget options: Aiwa Prodigy 1 ($30 - these are insanely good for the price), Sony XBA-1 (~$80), Polk Nue Voe ($120 discontinued & least comfortable)

I like balanced armature earbuds for a flat response that's not too bassy so I can hear what a mic actually picked up.

What do you set levels at in your komodo? I find the preamps in it are pretty noisy.. I have to boost output on my lav to even begin peaking at -20 on the komodo.
