Considering how much of a financial success The Super Mario Bros Movie was, and that there's definitely more coming, I can see Nintendo giving the main characters special treatment.

Off the bat? I can see a new 3D Mario, Luigi’s Mansion 4, a new Peach and even a new Donkey Kong Country being launch titles or released early on into the console's lifespan.

imagine that tomorrow Nintendo presents a great system, with a good price and games - people would start making comparisons everywhere with PS5 pro scam and Nintendo would be a "hero who saves the players' situation", a very good marketing move. But the montage of such an important commercial will not take less than a month
