In this video, we tell you about the first EV launch from Kia, the EV6.
The EV6 which is introduced in India comes packed with a 77.4 kWh battery. The model will be offered in two configurations, a rear-wheel-drive single motor drivetrain & an all-wheel-drive with dual motors. The EV6 will develop 229 HP & 350 Nm of torque with the single motor and the AWD dual-motor model develops 325 HP & 605 Nm of torque. The EV 6 is capable of doing 0-100 Km/h in just 3.5 seconds and it comes with an electronically limited top speed of 192 Km/h.
In terms of charging capabilities, the EV6 can be charged with a 50kW charger which can recharge the battery from 10-80% in just 73 minutes & a 350kW fast charger can recharge the same in just 18 minutes. Speaking of the most important aspect of owning an EV; range, the EV6 claims a driving range of 528 Km.
The Kia EV6 will come with remote folding seats, a wide electric sunroof, connected LED tail lamps, automatic flush door handles, a smart power tailgate, curved touchscreen navigation & heads-up display. It will also be offered with a premium 14-speaker Meridian surround music system, and autonomous driving features like lane keep assist, adaptive cruise control, & a blind spot monitor.
The EV6 gets a 5-Star safety rating from Euro-NCAP, along with 8-airbags, ESP, & Hill-Assist.
The Kia EV6 is priced at Rs 59.65 Lakhs for the GT Line variant & Rs 64.95 Lakhs (ex-showroom) for the GT Line AWD variant.
