How to use a Pressure Cooker as a Rice Cooker - 8 minute Rice!

How to use the pressure cooker as a rice cooker.
It's really fast and easy.
1 Part rice (rinsed)
2 Parts water.

I cook it for 8 minutes while I prepare the rest of the meal. My pressure cooker has been the best rice cooker I've ever had.

I see you do not add salt or do you add the salt after the cooking time?

When you use 1 cup rice, 2 cups water Is the cooking time still 6 minutes?

it is not actually fast. It takes awhile to warm the unit before the 8 minutes timer countdown, in all, i'd say 40 minutes from closing the lid.
