Advice for tourists, make sure you come between june and maybe around mid september, if you don’t want to freeze your ass off. Also remember to have a few drinks before you go to nightclubs, otherwise you gonna have to pay around 10 dollars for a drink with more ice and juice than alcohol. The nightclub securities can be kind of dickheads, especially around Stureplan which is like a main party spot near the city center. Södermalm offers decent partying with a more laidback vibe and has bars with decent prices. Kungsholmen around Fridhemsplan also offers beer to decent prices. Welcome and enjoy your stay!

I think you guys would have loved the Gold Room on the "Historiska Museet".
The museum goes from the middle ages and back to pre-history and they have a room filled with jewelry and treasures from this period that you can watch, there's about 52kg of gold in that room (115 lbs).
Especially the gold jewelry as the gold don't age really makes history vivid in a very special way.

And most museums in Stockholm that are state run have free entry at the moment, the Vasa is one of the exceptions because of the number of visitors.

Sorry for nitpicking, but... there are no rivers in Stockholm. The water you see is the Baltic Sea and the lake Mälaren, which are divided by the original part of Stockholm (The Old Town - Gamla stan). Great video though...

Stockholm I a beautiful city. I was there many years ago. Some of my best memories of Europe are from the month I spent there. This video was very nice and when he was showing the viewer the watch, it was very pleasant and blended right in.
