**CRUCIAL** Make sure the Fast Track Pro is plugged in a USB 2.0 slot after update. It works.. at least for me and I'm on Windows 10.

I keep getting the error-
Hardware not detected or already in use.
I tried changing the cable, reinstalling the driver and rebooting but that didn't help. I have been using this card on Windows 10 for over 4 years. But this problem never occured.

forget it this interface is written off you can't get drivers my friend got one at goodwill and it wouldn't boot up and then i found out you can't get the drivers... these are throw aways

I keep getting bluescreens from the audio driver and often losing all sound because my audio format fucks up somehow, changing audio format in windows settings fixes the sound issue but I have to do it several times every day. really wouldn't recommend the fast track pro for windows 10 use.

I have problems with the MIDI port. I use Hydrasynth as a MIDI controller that is connected to the MIDI IN port of the Fast Track Pro. However very often, there is no streaming between them. Most likely it's up to the Fast Track Pro driver. It all happens under Win10 Pro x64, with a 6.1.11 driver. The whole thing is set up, after shutting down the MIDI controller and Fast Track Pro, with restarting the computer. I thought at first, that it was up to a USB 3.0 connection (between the computer and the interface). However, the change to USB 2.0 port did not help. What should I do next, the question is now?

For everyone who is still here with the issue of loosing sound and that silly stuff. I got a stupid workaround for this. The 6.1.11 installer is still on my desktop. When there arrives the final situation of f**ing loosing sound I start the installer and click on repair. The system asks me to restart andd here i click [NO]. Verry important is the fact of NOT and pleace NOT lug out the device, this generates automatically the lovely bluescreen. Maybe you'll lose then some work you had done on your PC and forgot to save (as I had very often based on this stupid device).

FunFact: With Linux you havent problems like this and you only need pulse audio. It is the best card for Linux to handle sound ;)

Maybe you should go to Linux completely (not only by the reason of using this sound device, but there is some stuff much easier).

Hi, I always had a good experience using under windows 10 BUT now, I think that with the latest update it stopped working the S/PDIF. I would like to know if the same thing happened to you. Thank you.
