It's comical how accurate this is. I got started on fall two weeks ago even though we've been in the 90's. My porch and interior scream fall, I've done the fall yard clean up, drank the fall drinks, attempted a cozy shirt, played fall ambiance music and so far only one leaf on my tree has turned color. I live in the wrong state for sure!

You actually looked good in some of the hats. The trick to wearing hats: act like you look good in a hat and you will (I am a hat wearer.). Recipe for an apple martini - equal parts DeKuyper Sour Apple and your favorite vodka; garnish with apple slice.

It actually IS finally fall in the Pacific Northwest. It decided that last week and now it is 50/60 with gorgeous fall colors and the occasional windstorm/thunder storm. My backyard is covered in apples (unfortunately our most prolific tree produces terrible apples...but VERY enthusiastically!), plums and pears. Today the sky is a brilliant blue, but it's chilly enough for a hoodie. Yes, my favorite season, and the PNW does it right <3

Oh my gracious. We have a family tradition “talk about doing fall family photos every year” and never actually taking fall family photos. 🙌🏼

So thankful I live in Minnesota where this morning's temperature was a lovely 51 degrees. Unless forced, I choose not to live in the South where fall is hot and spring is hot and summer is unbearable. Thankful for four distinct seasons. Fall is my favorite season and my sisters who moved to the South last year are experiencing their first southern fall. They don't like it. It's too hot!

I love autumn. It's the season we harvest black walnuts in the Ozarks. It's also the season I start making homemade stews and chilis, pumpkin muffins, and hot breakfasts. 🍁🌾🍂🥧

I love how the "Expectations" music is very lightweight and whimsical, but when we cut to the "Reality" segments, it sounds like an episode of Dateline.

I grew up in the Piney Woods of East Texas. Instead of beautiful fall leaves everywhere, we got pine needles. So many pine needles. And pollen. Cars, houses, tree trunks, everything coated in pollen. As a person with nasal allergies, Spring and Fall were both nightmares growing up. I live in Oklahoma now and I hardly ever have problems with my nasal allergies here, and get beautiful Fall seasons!

Oh I feel that! I love pumpkin, but not always pumpkin spice. And I forget this almost every year, and I buy a bunch of pumpkin spice stuff, expecting it to taste like pumpkin, and it's just cinnamon and nutmeg.
