As far as I remember, Finding Nemo director was very fond of marine biology and life, so they put a lot of small details about that in the movies. I think there is more of that in Finding Dory

When finding Nemo first came out I took my daughter to see it because she has always loved sea creatures. The first time Bruce’s full body appeared on screen, some kid yelled “but mommy where’s his dickies at?” I have absolutely no clue if that kid was actually talking about his genitals or not, but I can say that everyone literally started dying laughing
