Car was driving fast, but Ben should have been more aware and not cut others off

Ben could see that car was flying and pulled over in front of him! Since he promptly lane changed back, he clearly could have just slowed for a bit. He did wrong. Then he cut off the same car by changing back. That driving gives RVers a bad name. Sometimes, most of the time, slowing down for a mile, or five, eliminates such situations. That said, things happen and glad ALL came out safe.

I'm sorry but watched this multiple times and I have to vote that Ben was not being an aware driver. He pulled out in front of the car in the left lane then moved back after the car was already in the right lane. Ben should have at least seen that the car was already in the right lane and waited for him to pass before moving over. But love you guys and your channel (writing as I'm lounging in my Experience over Things shirt). 😊

No matter the situation… no one should ever brake check. It’s irresponsibly dangerous. Glad all were ok.

Looks like Ben moved back into the right lane to cut the car off a 2nd time.

We saw y’all at the Sunshine Travel campsite when you were here and wanted to drop by and say hi, but it looks like you left before we had the chance. Thanks for the 2 seconds of fame for our orange 4Runner. ;) over on the new loop. We’ve really enjoyed your videos, and they helped us get going a year ago when we decided to go full time. Keep up the great work and wonderful content.

I have Tire Minder TPMS 77 series with 10 flow thru sensors. That sensor is bad. When you change batteries, chang the cap O-Rings to keep out debris - water. Install steel stem extensions on hard to get to existing tires.

You can use the old school method, that truckers use. The next time you visit a truck stop, pick up a "Thumper".
It's a miniature base ball bat. You strike the tires, and note the sound that it makes. You should hear the same sound from all the tires as you go around your "RV". Its the same principle as using a tuning fork. This will tell you very quickly if you have a tire pressure problem.

You guys had phantom tire problems but that car driver will have real tire problems driving on the shoulder where all the debris is. We hope to be on the road soon. Safe travels to you!

Yes I have a magnetic pick up tool I use in my sewing room (for pins and needles )and occasionally my husband needs to borrow it 😂 and although my husband uses a camera when driving to work we will now be using it in our RV too! Thanks for sharing

Breathe Girl! You don't have to be "Full Time" to have a successful Youtube channel regarding RVing...part time/weekend warriors/hybrids...whatever you want to call it nowadays can be just as memorable. From the time I was born until I flew the nest, we camped, when we could...Mother's Day weekend...why? Mom Loved to Camp, Memorial Day Weekend because we got out of school and booked it to an event and hour or so away...and it was close enough to get the 3 of us kids back to be in the Memorial Day Parades early Monday morning...etc...It isn't about how much you can get out, it's about just getting out and documenting your lives. Your kids are growing up fast and pretty soon...they too will be "old, married and with their own kids"...okay maybe that's a few years down the road yet, but the point is hopefully they too will want to continue to camp and explore. I'm now 56, and we still love to camp and yes, Mom at 87 insists on us getting away, even though our schedule only allows "weird days" she still loves to camp and have experiences.

I have been working with TireMinder in diagnosing one of our sensors. I will be most likely replacing it after our next trip.
I like the idea of having a spare sensor. I think I will order one.

TireMinder is no good. We constantly had false alarms, and when we had a blowout in our RV, it never went off, even after the whole belt was blown off, it never alarmed. We always check pressure and the TPMS before a trip, but it still failed us.

Since I’ve had the TPMS my stress level occasionally skyrockets when I get a signal. In past two years all alerts have been faulty sensors!

Closest calls we've had so far are from folks pulling travel trailers and pulling over too soon in front of our class A... Twice I've had to pull into the shoulder to avoid their back bumper!

Have been a commercial truck driver for thirty eight years and have had the break test done to me several times in recent years. Drivers seem to less respectful of people around them, in a big hurry, not using directionals on Lane changes and weaving in and out of traffic like a video game.

We have a 42 ft 5th wheel. If I'm in a separate vehicle behind the RV my husband will call me to move over in next lane then he will safely move in front of me. That way I can control some of the traffic so no one feels that they are cut-off by another driver.

Careful with those ice makers, they'll grow mold in the tubes within the machine, you can remove the back and see the clear hoses, mine had mold in them, i did several cycles with vinegar and it cleared it up, they also make a cleaner just for sanitizing it
