Matlab a house which costs 40 lakh, a person should keep 4 lakh as emergency funds? And a person who is buying a house worth ₹1 crore, that person should keep 10lakh as emergency funds? That doesn’t make sense!! Because house cost is not the only base where your decision should be made about emergency funds.. fr that insurance is there.. but your budget, income source, amount, house expenses, household expenses, near future capital expenses etc matter way more than just house costs.. and in any city, a house’s costs depend upon its area where it is located then the second factor which impact houses cost is its condition and build..
