One thing I want to mention before I get into the rest of my comment, I checked the current price of the Galaxy Explorer at Walmart & it’s currently $75. I think the $50 deal was just something special for Black Friday. Anyways, I’m really glad the Galaxy Explorer placed at the #1 spot! It’s definitely my favorite set of the year topping all the others like the Ice Tank & Garmadon Garmadon Garmadon Shark Mech from the Ninjago movie, the White Horse Dragon Jet, the Daily Bugle, & the Ninjago City Gardens. While I didn’t grow up with Classic Space either, I did grow up with other fantastic space themes like Galaxy Squad & Space Police III. So as a fan of space I knew I wanted to get this set. I also loved the Cosmic Cardboard Adventures GWP from May & I’m excited for the leaked 40580 Blacktron Cruiser coming out next year! If they keep making more space sets like this & not just Star Wars like they’ve been doing I’m gonna be really excited & I’ll try to get all of them.

This year I bought only 3 sets. I can't believe 2 of them are winners of both Chris' top 10s 😂
And the 3rd one is Ninjago gardens, winner of the previous list, which i didnt't know back then.

The $50 Galaxy Explorer was a Black Friday deal. It shouldn't really be taken as an indicator of poor sales. Of course, this doesn't mean that Walmart won't eventually clearance it out if it has a ton of back stock, but as of now, you might even want to consider it popular enough to be a Black Friday draw!

totally agree with the Space Explorer, probably the best overall LEGO System set of all times, at least in that price range. It got everything, nostalgia, a fun build with modern techniques, playability, alt builds, and display value. not sure about the Loop Coaster on #2 though, I'd rather have it very high on a "Top Ten WORST $100+ Non-Licensed 2022 Sets" 😅

I'm a Lego Space kid from the first time around, so the Galaxy Explorer was perfect nostalgia bait for me. I wasn't a Lego collector, but I HAD to get the Galaxy Explorer when it came out and then a second one in the sales to make the two man ship! Getting the modern version of 928 even inspired me to dig my old Lego Space sets out of storage and redisplay all those old pocket money vehicles I had as a kid alongside the new Galaxy Explorer. I really hope this inspires Lego to revisit Classic Space and I look forward to seeing the brown spaceman in January and adding one (or two) to my expanding Lego Space collection.

Hey duck bricks, I’ve heard in your videos (specifically monkie kid) that you use pets of the OST in the background, despite it not being publicly avalible. Is this a LAN thing or is there a way to find the soundtracks? Any info you can provide will be greatly appriciated. I’ve been trying to track it down since I heard it in the episodes!
