I love that it disengages the spindle as its essentially locked even if forget to lift the handle. It's a shame about the lack of lock on the inside though, very handy if you only have adults or grown kids but it's a risk if you have small kids as you can't secure the door.

Great review, very thorough. Thanks Mark. Quick question: does the key-pad turn off (as in goes black) so you cant see it when it's not active? Or does it show the key-pad all the time? Cheers.

A good overview of this lock.

It appears to be a rebranded "Ruveno slim" whick is one on my short list due to the multifunctionality it has and alao foesnt look too obvious at a distance.

My concern is with the internal handle not being locked. Yes, great as a safety reasurrance in the event of requiring fast egress in an emergency, however couldnt it be operated by hand through the letterbox?

Another point to ponder is that it doesnt throw the deadbolt so is reluant just upon the latch mechanism. Could the latch easily be forced back against the spring perhaps?

Hi Mark, does the handle "feel" premium? Also, you mentioned temperature limits, what about waterproofing (with good old UK weather lol)?

If its so easy to connect via the app if someone else downloaded the app and tried to pair it to the lock could they do that? Just wondering about the security from that side of things. Or once youve paired it with the login of email etc can another phone not pair to the lock on a different account so to speak

How does it lock when you leave? if you forgot to lift the handle when you leave does it still lock in any way?

Because it locks automatically and disengages after a few seconds (?) if you miss this window of opportunity does that mean listing the handle doesn't engage the multi-point lock when it is 'locked'
