QLED is cleverly marketed LCD panels with a backfilter.

Having had x2 8K TVs from Samsung & now an LG C9, I couldnt return the 8K sets back fast enough.

Right now OLED is #1 (ofcourse it has flaws, all TVs do)

MicroLED could be amazing & has the potential to be #1. Though it's a few years away yet sadly.

The qled part is completely wrong, the pixels are not made from quantum dots. The tech is not there, yet. Samsung qled still uses an led panel, and a quantum dot film behind it which is activated by the blue led back light. It is part of the back light, giving a pure and bright back light. The viewing angle limitation is due to using a VA panel instead of an IPS panel. I recommend going to rtings.Com to learn a bit more before making a video like this. Sorry...

The QLED explanation is inaccurate.
The pixels are still basically LCD of the VA (vertical alignment) type. The quantum dot particles are placed between the backlight and the liquid crystals. What the quantum dots do is filter out scattered wavelengths from the LED backlight, and in the process letting through only the purest of pure whites. The light then passes through the usual polorizers, liquid crystals and RGB color filters. The particles also make the light brighter.
The result is color reproduction which is 99.6-99.9% of the sRGB color space. If we compare 1000 nits of brightness for all display types, we get more accurate colors than IPS LCD, slightly more accurate than recent OLED displays, and comparable to forthcoming microLED displays, but with a fraction of the cost.

Also, you cannot merge microLED with QLED because you need white light to begin with. MicroLED does not emit white light on its own, but white light is percepted by the combined full intensity of all three primary colors.

I'm more interested in response times for microLED. How fast or slow can we expect pixels to change?

This is not how Samsung's QLED displays work, currently Quantum Dots are a printed layer that converts a blue LED back light into extremely pure red and green. It is a back light technology that assists in increasing the color gamut and potential brightness of LCD panels, all of Samsung's top panels are still VA LCDs. No pixels are made of QDs. That may have happened if Samsung went ahead with building QD-OLED which would have used an OLED layer as a per pixel control and lighting source and QD as an active color filter.

I have an 65" LG OLED Tv and I love it but I can see how this MLED tech could be the OLED killer in about two to three years which will be just in time for me to buy a new Tv

I’ve had my LG OLED for almost a year and a half now, I play video games every day pretty much and my tv is yet to have burn in!! It’s really not as much of a problem than people make it out to be!

To overcome burn in problem ask the TV channels to keep moving around the logo position in the four corners.

Having a micro LED wall at home would be amazing until the first time you mistakenly walked into it

Samsung's QLED is a plain old fashioned LCD with a fancy filter and a name they acquired. For most people the mLED (microLED) gives the hope of Pixel level controlled LED essentially similar to OLED but without the organics. The proof is in the pudding regarding reliability, essentially early adopters are the guinea pigs. OLED still offers the niche see through panel.

I own an x930e 55 inch and just bought a 65 inch lg c9 and the difference in picture quality is night and day. Oled is king atm.

Thanks for the explanation. I will wait for the new micro led tv. Sounds great.

Just when you thought you heard enough marketing terms for tvs, here comes along ULED.

Can’t wait to buy 220” 16K MicroLED TV

Obviously Micro-Led is the best technology of the three. It combines the best things of the 2 others

I have to say the Oleds are alot better that Qleds (which is just fancy LED) and are probably here to stay for while. And while Mirco LEDs may be better then oleds, they are years away from being sensibly afordable. I can already by a 4k oled, that has a side by side better picture than an 8k qled, and is about half the cost. And with oleds new anti-burn in tech of pixel shifting, local logo dimming, and brightness limiting, burning them in is difficult. I think Oleds are going to dominate the market, just like LEDs dominated plasma, for while before micro LEDs become afordable

I truly believe that Micro Leds Displays Televisions Technology 📺 are very much deeply better than that of QD-Oled or WRGB Oled Televisions 📺 Displays Technology which are currently available right now ❤😂!
