Hey folks! Josh here - the founder of the channel! I drop in sometimes and narrate the videos :) We have an unbelievable YouTube project we're working on. We're starting a new channel soon that will feature visualizations of obscure but very possible scientific theories. Theories showing unbelievable possibilities of how things could work. We haven't launched it yet, but drop me a follow on Instagram (link in description) to keep up to date. Going to be a totally new thing on YouTube.

2:12 This waterslide was open for a month even though the dummies themselves got decapitated?? What did they think, a dummy could get killed but a child can't?!?

I'm no engineer but it seems one of the biggest issues is the need for a weight limit on these rides.

Poor boy, I'm surprised that first video wasn't #1. 😢

I was actually injured on the cannon ball slide in Action Park in Vernon NJ... I hit my leg on the top of the tube, and hit the water with such force, I almost drowned because my leg was so hurt. I suffered from debilitating migraines for a whole week afterward from the fear and trauma I suffered. Never, ever again would I go there. Also my son who was 12 at the time almost drowned in the wave pool that same day! Worst experience of my life!!!

Most of this b-roll/youtube footage isn't of the attractions they're talking about
14. Insano wasn't banned/problematic.
12. Shoot the Rapids isn't a waterslide.
11. Steamer wasn't banned/problematic, and exact copies of the model are in operation all over the world.
10. Black Hole wasn't banned/problematic.
8. Women often have this "issue" on high speed slides with high-water runouts if they do not keep their legs crossed as instructed. Hitting the runout with legs crossed avoids jets of water being thrust into "those places". Other parks haven't faced lawsuits from idiots who can't follow rules or this rule would be everywhere on drop slides.
6. This is one of the most common slides on the market. There are dozens that serve millions of riders .
5. Like many other on this list- this slide is a direct copy of dozens of other models found at parks around the world.
4. Per the usual on your "list", this model was found across the world with dozens operating safely for decades.
3. Nothing "banned" about this. Code violations number in the dozens at all parks. And by the way, every single park here in Orlando is infested with cockroaches. It's normal. Gross, but normal.
2. Idiot sat up, severely lowering his buoyancy. More resistance placed by his mis-distributed weight slowed him down. Had he obeyed proper riding instructions, this would not have happened. This happens every day, and is not the fault of the park.
1. So... not banned. Not dangerous. You just put a tall/fast slide on there for what reason? Models like this operate at DISNEY water parks. They're not dangerous.

You've got about 3 legitimate "dangerous" slides here. Lists like these are why we have such a stupid and uninformed populace.

Why don't new Jersey just give up on making slides?

How was #15 not #1? 20 million dollar lawsuit and a kid getting decapitated? Sounds like the worst one on that list, like that sounded like the only fatality.

There's a documentary about Action Park that's supposed to be coming out anytime. I believe it's called "Class Action Park".

When you really think about it, its so depressing when you realize the people getting injured or facing tragedies because of a waterslide, all they wanted was to have some fun and enjoy themselves, and they end up dead or injured.

I think it is worth noting that the original Action Park was only open from 1978-1996, shutting down due to negligence and multiple deaths. It was opened under a different name and lost all popularity because they had to shut down almost all of the rides due to danger. It was only re-opened as Action Park again in 2014, just to close again in 2016. It does appear to be open again as Mountain Creek, however.
