I rode Verrückt one time, and I vowed never again. The seats were duct taped, and the only thing holding me in was a poorly fitting Velcro strap across my upper torso. During the first drop, I was completely off of the seat for the entire plunge. I can’t imagine how any child or small person could be safely secured, which was an evident problem given the inevitable fatality. The second plunge was almost as bad, but at least I was only out of my seat for half of that drop. It was a terrifying ride, and I truly was verrückt for trying it out.

The number 1 isn't shut down, nor is it the tallest one. I was at Schlitterbahn last summer and number one is still there. The insaneo is the tallest now I believe. Its located in Galveston (or Houston) Texas

The plunge should be added in Wisconsin dells Noah’s ark. A young kid died on that ride which makes it more dangerous than some others on the list.
