He is NOT right. I cannot recommend N26. In Germany, many small businesses don’t except a Debit Mastercard and you need a Girocard. If you want to lend a car or sleep at a hotel you may need a Credit Mastercard. Moreover, it has not a good customer service. I think, in Germany there are other retail banks with cheap bank account like Deutsche Kreditbank.

Hello, thanks for your video. I recently made an account in N26, It was working fine and customer support was good for some days. However, after two to three weeks, they froze my account (no incoming and outgoing transfers) saying they put my account under review for routine compliance checks. Now all my funds inside it is held. They not even responding to my emails either. so tread lightly.
