Beauty! Have a similar one drawn up just haven't found the motivation to materialize that drawing.... until now

I highly recommend putting a filter over that radiator to prevent problems with cooling performance from dust in the radiator fins.

Your cnc looks great. Looking foward to see it in action.

I didn't know about that freezemod brand. Super cool, makes the cooling lines much shorter. Definitely on my upgrade list once I finish building my cnc.

Nice work! Looks Great! Gerry's screen sets are great, and he is a super knowledgeable guy, too. Anxious to see how the radiator/heat exchanger stays clean with all the dust. Definitely consider putting a dust shoe/vacuum on it.

Awesome work with the router! Maybe try to run in the bearings on the noisy spindle. Just changed the bearings on mine, and it had the same sound for a while. I ran them at 5-10000 rpm for a half an hour. Also it is starting to get cold, so a "warmup run" is always a good idea.

Just what I was looking for.. Subbed here.

Nice, perhaps the spindle troubles were due to clamping in the wrong spot ? In any case good job.

Nice build! Are the ball screws and bearings Hiwin?

Love this build. It clearly shows you learned a lot from your first self-made CNC. So my question, as a CNC virgin is whether it is worth it to go in with a relatively inexpensive kit (inventables, 6040, xtools, or something of that ilk <<$5k) to get my feet wet and then plan on building out something better once I better know what I need, or just save up and get a much more expensive, beefier kit (like Avid CNC $10-15k)?

Very well done. Maybe you might like to have a look at mine.

Wouldn't having the coolant on a moving part of the cnc, especially the one that moves the most, introduce in more vibration or perhaps it dampens the existing vibration?

what did you use for the spindle cooling?
