I remember the first time I saw this. I was like 12. I thought this was official and I was SOO hyped yet terrified. This brings me back in time in a way I can't describe.

I actually remember reading the comments on this vid back in 2011 and everyone was saying things like...

"if they are adding this then I'm done with this game"
"what is that!?!?!?"
"that's scary"
"this is something they are adding?"

I still remember my first enderman encounter which traumatized me as a kid. I can't imagine if I encountered this thing instead..it would haunt me for years..

this is better than the current trend of scary mob mods rn. this has actual depth to it and it plays off the horror of early Minecraft really well

I have an idea for a horror Minecraft update, they should add these guys as a new type of Enderman called “Stalker Enderman” and they would only appear at biomes like the forest and taiga (just to name a few) at night, the only way you would they’re there is when they do the whispering, also they should make it that if you look at a tree you could see one of them peeking behind a tree in the distance and hide back behind the tree when you see them, they could also have a chance of appearing right behind you when you turn around after they hide back behind a tree.This is just my idea of an update y’all don’t have to agree.

Edit:They could beat on your door with them still whispering and if they don’t do that then when you go to sleep at night the one could stand right above your bed or maybe even a group of them circling your bed watching you sleep and when you get up they’ll be gone and won’t be there when you go back to sleep but if you don’t immediately get up then in the morning when you get up they won’t be there.
Edit 2:The Enderman’s weakness could be light and if you want to live somewhere with a bunch of trees you have to place torches around trees for them to go away
