Whole Home Renovation | 2 Year Remodel Solo DIY

The last two years I've poured my blood sweat and tears into remodeling this whole home almost entirely myself. This is the first project I've taken on this size and am a self-taught carpenter with only a couple years experience. I learn quickly, am a perfectionist, and loved flexing my creative ideas in this space. I hope you've loved following along! I have been doing things little by little in our place, but haven't felt quite confident enough to do 99% of the things you are doing here. I feel your pain, I bought a 3000 sq ft house on 3/4 acre for $15k, it had holes in the roof, water poured in, the smell and mold! My buddies helped me rebuild it, had to replace all the floors with 3/4 " plywood, I live here now and love it, all paid off!

“Courage over confidence”, you should copyright protect that motto! Seriously.
I can see how courage over confidence can help get a person unstuck. A lack of confidence, (stemming from a lack of knowledge/experience) can be paralyzing. Seizing courage and Doing in spite of apprehension, opens one up to learn, succeed, and gain confidence. Then repeat.
Your kids and husband are so blessed to have you. This concept is more than DIY, it’s life skills.
