Man oh man, how amazingly awesome must it be to have so many world class record shops at your fingertips. Sure it's great that we have so many online resources, but it ain't the same as being there. Just as well, I'd be so broke if all that "good stuff" was within my striking distance. Great video Ken, keep 'em coming. 😁👍

Great record store. Nice to see a part of the word you live in. Love to come to New York City one day. The store has some cool records. Somewhere I could spend 2-3 hours easy just Looking at the records. I like a lot of the L.P. Covers really into the artwork of them. Be good to go there and meet like minded music fans and talk to the staff who work there, people who like you know there stuff when it comes to music.

Thanks for showing the rare soul 45's. There was some nice obscure ones there. I see Daptone has their own box!

Thanks for this Ken I have my route from my hotel worked out for my trip in October. Have you considered doing a similar type review of the live music scene. It would really help us tourist, and I would be interested even if I wasn't travelling. Are the iconic clubs still good or are there new ones offering quality without high prices

Do you know why the record store is called human head? Strange name. When it comes to record stores is this one of the last shops standing in NYC? I’m a Jazz and soul guy so this video is wonderful to me. Reminds me of the 1990s when almost every city/town have a record store. Not just a place for music but a place to meet people into music before the days of the internet. It meant something be on the street with the right L.P. In your hands. Thank you for this video ken.

We don't all like this weird stuff some of us prefer quieter middle of the road stuff like Van Der Graaf, Ardvark, Black cat bones, Third ear band, Wire and the offshoots etc.
