im thinking about small electric fireplace, what if I connect 3-4 this panels from inside of the bulb together and place behind dark plexiglass?

Dead Bulb - The problem with these bulbs is that the capacitor in the power supply is junk. Run the bulb constantly for a week or less and the bulb generally dies. Open up and you will find that the 820uf cap has popped. Just replace it with a good quality one and your bulb is back to life.

I tried the 9-volt battery and it worked... for a while. If I touch the battery once with the leads, the light stays on, touch the leads to the battery twice, breathing mode, 3 times, the flame mode. However, after 20 minutes or so the light now only works in staying on mode. No more flame mode. Oddly, I put a weak 9-volt battery to the leads and the flame works very weakly. Wonder if there is a way to fix this...

12v, the right amount for running off a car battery. I might have to build a Tiki themed Lowrider.

In this case the solder is only holding it together. I wonder if other bulbs have power going through it? Anyone know?

I attached one of these to solar panel and put it in an outdoor lantern. Looks great but defaults to solid (non-flickering light). Any one know how to disable that function so it will only flicker?

Wow I would never have thought it was flexable leds. Doesnt look very safe for electrical use I wouldnt trust this when I'm not home might burn my house down.
