Netanyahu to ‘thank’ Biden for helping Israel during US visit

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that he plans to see US President Biden during his visit to the United States to thank him for “the things he did for Israel in the war and during his long and distinguished career in public service”.

Netanyahu made the comments at Tel Aviv’s Ben Gurion Airport on Monday, as he prepared to depart for Washington where he will deliver a speech to US Congress.

Biden ended his re-election campaign on Sunday and endorsed Vice-President Kamala Harris as presidential candidate for the Democratic Party.
