Much appreciated! There are virtually no videos and/or explanations anywhere that describe what a bad rag joint sounds like and how to diagnose. I have a 14 Taurus and after several alignments I continued to have slop in my steering. While car is off, there is an audible clunking sound coming from the firewall area. Your video has helped me to diagnose the issue. Again, very much appreciated! Thank you!

Just bought a 1980 Pinto. Yes I know..I the steering is sloppy. Your video was what I needed to SEE it before I start R&R. Thank you for Getting to the Point. A New Sub you found. Now to find the replacement part.

Advice please. Trying to install a 3/4 30 spline on to the steering box. The rag joint is very tight. Tried to tap it but didn't want to ruin the new steering box. What do you recommend. I appreciate your advice. Thank you.

What if you have lifted truck 3 inch sus and 2 inch body lift on 89 Toyota any specifics I do or get? Cause mines is bad

What’s the purpose of the rag joint? To dampen vibrations? Safety Incase of accident?? Mine in completely shot on my 89 f150 and I’m thinking of making one myself with no flex..

thanks will steering coupler be easy for D.I.Y on 85 caprice?. gearbox and front end recently replaced.

Sweet, steering boxes are always kind of a mystery to me - you never have to touch them generally, even when u pull the motor, but when shit goes wrong I have no idea how to work with them because of that, lol.
