In my opinion. Blasters is the best game, Yo-kai Watch 3 is second best, followed by 4, 2, 1. I love all of them but this is the ranking I give. (I only put the main-line games and Blasters since those are the English ones. Other than 4 but then it’s kinda weird to have the others but not four.)

I’m a fan of yokai watch 2 because 1: it’s soundtrack is incredible and is so relaxing to play 2: going back in time is a cool idea and adds so much 3: the bosses are so good 4: nostalgia

yo kai watch 2 would be a tier but the version exclusive locked up kai and legends completely pisses me off so b tier


ykw 4 is a tier S tier story S tier characters S tier yo kai designs. just a really good game

I’m gonna be honest yo Kai watch blasters is the best game in the franchise. It’s so replayable like there are 150+ hours you can put in the game. Blasters is also challenging unlike some of the other yo Kai games. It’s so fun idk man.

I am playing yokai watch 4 right now, and honestly I like it. The battle system especially feels better after yokai watch 3 where I didnt enjoy it that much

My all time favourite was psychic spectres, psychic spectres is what got me back into yo kai watch and got me to actually beat the first game, but i really enjoyed 4 without knowing Japanese.
