Here an easier method for solving 3 consecutive problem
First 138/3=46
46-1=45
46+1=47
3 consecutive numbers are:
1st number:
45
2nd number:
46
3rd number:
47
Checking:
45+46+47=138

yes but only for consecutive numbers. Numbers right next to each other. 56 78 and 90 are not consecutive.
