The Top portion of the PFD is called the FMA which stands for Flight Mode Annunciator, It notifies the pilot whenever a mode change happens or If a mode is armed. The pilot flying has to announce the change in FMA( boxed item) and the Pilot monitoring has to reply with "CHECKED" to confirm the change. Enjoy the video and feel free to ask questions.
